We spent ten years chasing approvals. Then we built Ferrybox.
Ferrybox started in 2022, when two people who'd run agency projects for a decade decided the client side of the work deserved better tools.
Daniel Reyes ran client services at two agencies for nine years. Maya Okafor led design teams that spent more time explaining which file was the latest than designing the next one. They met on a project where a logo took three weeks to approve – not because anyone disliked it, but because nobody was sure who was meant to say yes.
The tools agencies used were built for the people inside the agency. Clients got email threads, transfer links that expired and PDF invoices that arrived a week after the work. So Daniel and Maya built the tool from the other side: one place where a client reviews the work, approves it and pays for it, without creating an account.
Today Ferrybox is a team of 28 across nine countries. Some of us write about what we've learned on the blog – Daniel on agency economics, Maya on review workflows, Sofia Lindqvist on onboarding and Tom Whitaker on how the product is built.

How we work
Remote-first
No head office. We meet in person twice a year and work from wherever suits us.
We ship every two weeks
Every second Tuesday, with a changelog entry for every change.
We answer support ourselves
Everyone, including the founders, spends time in support each month.
Clients are always free
Agencies pay for their team. Their clients never pay, on any plan.
Your next project could be the calm one.
Set up your first client portal in an afternoon. We'll help you move the projects you're running today.
About this site: Ferrybox is fictional. The company, customers, quotes and numbers are invented for a portfolio project by Sergey Terehov, a web developer. Integrations shown are not real partnerships. Source code: GitHub.
